Organised in partnership with Cleveland Police, the summit will highlight the risks of cyber crime to the region’s businesses.
It will also showcase support offered by Cleveland Police’s Cyber Crime Team.
Experts from the force will demonstrate what owners and managers can do to prevent criminals attacking – and damaging – businesses online.
The summit will do the following:
- Look at the five key areas of cyber security for small and medium size enterprises (SMEs)
- Examine the support available including the not-for-profit North East Business Resilience Centre
- Deliver an interactive exercise to show how business leaders can put their new-found knowledge into practice.
The Cleveland Cyber Crime Summit 2022 takes place at the Curve, Teesside University, Middlesbrough, on Monday 11 April from 1.30pm to 6pm,
