The Police and Crime Commissioner’s key duties include supporting victims, giving them a voice and ensuring the effectiveness of the criminal justice system across Cleveland.
Police and Crime Commissioner’s (PCC) has a number of duties to meet local needs. They include reducing crime and disorder and improving community safety. In order to do this effectively, the PCC engages and consults with the community and funds a number of community initiatives.
The Police and Crime Commissioner can fund community initiatives, which help work to reduce crime, disorder and the fear of crime.
