The Home Office has given Cleveland PCC a grant to complete the Building Environmental System (BEMS) at the M8 PFI building.
The grant will allow the force to complete work to truly integrate Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units with occupancy sensing equipment.
This will allow the temperature within the building to be regulated more effectively and reduce energy use.
The PCC is requested to accept the Home Office grant and agree a revenue increase of £23,863 in the force’s budget. This cash will come from funding already received.
