The Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC) undertakes a wide range of consultations.
This is to get residents’ views on policing, crime and anti-social behaviour, in Cleveland.
We want to make sure priorities in the Police and Crime Plan reflect the concerns of local communities with particular focus on the following:
- Identifying victims’ needs so we can improve services;
- Finding out key community concerns so we can focus partnership activity on them
The OPCC has a number of ways to make sure the police – and other services – are efficient, effective and responsive to local needs. We want to make sure the needs and welfare of local people are being met.
Methods of doing so include regular scrutiny meetings with the Chief Constable of Cleveland Police, on and offline consultations and attending a wide range of meetings with partners, residents and other stakeholders.
There may be an issue around crime, policing or anti-social behaviour in your community. The issue may be of particular concern to you and your neighbours and you feel isn’t being tackled.
To resolve your concern, it may be necessary for us to share details with Cleveland Police. Would you be happy for us to do that?
If you want to make a complaint or report dissatisfaction with policing, please go to the Cleveland Police website.
Please note, you must supply your contact details when raising a concern. This is to allow our staff to contact you and find out more.
