This refers to the agreement by which both offices agreed joint provision of a chief executive function.
This specifically terminates the agreement and provision for the convenience of commissioners and to enable the effective transition of chief executive functions for both offices. This agreement is effective from 13 May 2021.

This is a collaborative legal agreement to cover and replace the current legal services in police forces.
It ensures capacity is available to meet the legal services needs of Chief Constables (i.e. police forces,) PCCs and their offices. This cuts costs by making specialist skills available across several forces.

Cleveland and North Yorkshire Major Investigation Team
This Agreement provides support by a Policing Body for another Policing Body (a Policing Body collaboration provision) pursuant to s22A(2)(c) of the 1996 Act.
The Policing Bodies believe that this Collaboration Agreement is in the interests of the efficiency or effectiveness. They have consulted with their respective Chief Constables.

North East Forces Collaborative Agreement
This is agreement is between north east forces and OPCCs – ie Cleveland, Durham, Humberside, Northumbria, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire

A number of collaborative arrangements for policing services are already in place nationally and across the NPCC north east region.
On behalf of the region and as part of responsibilities under an agreed lead force model, North Yorkshire Police has undertaken a review of the two services of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) and the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) aspect of the wider Civil Contingencies response.
From this review, outline business cases for these service responses have been formally approved by the region’s Chief Constables and PCCs.
A single Section 22A Agreement between all seven, regional forces is required to form the legal basis for collaborative working.
This agreement provides a single, over-arching legal agreement for the whole of the NPCC NE Regions’ seven policing services, and other partners, for collaboration.
Two sub-functional Agreements for CBRN and DVI will follow. As joint working progresses individual sub-functional service agreements may be added to this overarching agreement rather than requiring a new Section 22A Agreement each time.

Provision of Armed Police from the Civil Nuclear Authority
The PCC has entered into the following collaboration with PCCs and Chief Constables of all geographic forces within England and Wales

All Home Office Police Forces have been asked to enter into a formal collaboration with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC).
The CNC is an armed police service responsible for the protection of civil nuclear material at sites across the UK.
Their officers have the full powers of a constable at licensed sites, five kilometres beyond their boundaries and anywhere while escorting nuclear material.
This agreement provides the lawful basis for the CNC to assist Home Office Police Forces when authorised to do so, as a simple alternative to the Energy Act 2004.

Following the Parker Review, a number of national policing functions have been embodied in national collaboration agreements. This is to ensure their continuity in a formalised manner.
In this instance, three of those functions – the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service, the National Police Freedom of Information and Data Protection Unit and the National Wildlife Service – are to be formalised in a single collaboration agreement.

Since February 2019, a number of updates have been received from Chief Constable Simon Cole on the progress of the Single Online Home transition.
The Section 22 agreement re-affirms the need for all forces to sign the document by 14 June. This is to secure the necessary governance and payment arrangements for the Police.uk service.
The current Police.uk service moves to the SOH platform from 1 August 2019. The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the contracting authority.
National Collaboration Agreement in relation to the Forensic Collision Investigation Network (FCIN)

The Forensic Collision Investigation Network (FCIN) has finalised the S22a legal agreement, detailing the collaborative model. This is hosted by North Wales Police.
The PCC and Chief Constable have agreed to sign this agreement. This formalises the national agreement.
It will start the process of becoming part of the FCIN and achieving ISO 17020 accreditation in Forensic Collision Investigation by October 2022.
