The PCC has completed the process of selecting his preferred candidate for appointment as Chief Constable of Cleveland Police.
He has selected Richard Lewis.
In accordance with the law, the PCC will be asking the Police & Crime Panel to consider and report to him about the proposed appointment of Mr Lewis, at a hearing on 9 April 2019.
