Police & Crime Commissioners (PCCs) have a duty to publish documents and information as set out in the Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) Order 2011 and the Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) (Amendment) Order 2012.
Specified information in relation to OPCC staff includes keeping a register of each offer of a gift or hospitality made to a relevant office holder or member of staff, indicating whether the offer was accepted or refused.
The OPCC for Cleveland organises this information on the basis of logs for each financial year. Each log contains details of:
- A reference number
- Date received
- Member of staff/team
- Further details on the offer of gifts and/or hospitality
- Whether the offer was accepted or declined.
